Mineral fiber ceiling tiles became popular after World War II and are still a popular solution today because they are a cost-effective, durable, and easy-to-install material for suspended ceilings. Our Elite Fiber Ceiling Tile line is our take on the traditional mineral fiber ceiling tile. These classic, budget friendly ceiling tiles are often used in basements, office spaces, schools, and other commercial settings.

Available in both black and white, our Elite Fiber Ceiling Tile has the advantages that you expect from a mineral fiber ceiling tile: sound absorption, fire resistance, and moisture resistance. The tiles are coated with a factory applied latex paint on the face that seals the tile creating a moisture barrier. This increases the humidity resistance of the tile as well as providing mold and mildew resistance. The tiles are designed to fit all standard 15/16" ceiling grid, have  an NRC Rating of .5, and are Class A fire rated. In addition, with a 5/8" thickness, insulation batting can be installed on top of the tile without sagging.

What is the lead time?
The panels are in stock and ship in 1-2 business days. If you are ordering more than 20 boxes, please contact us for the lead time. Large orders ship within 1-2 weeks.

Will the Elite Fiber ceiling tiles fit in a 9/16" grid?
Designed to fit all standard 15/16" T-Bar Ceiling Systems. Will not fit in a 9/16" grid, please measure the visible width of your grid.

Will this product work in my basement?
The simple answer is YES! Our Elite Fiber Ceiling Tiles will work well in any basement. The same certifications that make it a great commercial tile, make it a great tile for your home as well. These tiles are a solution to your loud kids in a basement problem.

What qualifications do the Elite Fiber Ceiling Tiles have?
Our advanced construction utilizes recycled materials while still meeting ASTM D5116 with the highest air quality standards.

• Noise Reduction: The tiles have been tested in accordance with ASTM C423 and has a NRC of .50.
• Class A Fire Rated: The tiles have been tested in accordance with ASTM 84e and scored a Class A rating for flame spread and smoke generation.
• Microbial Growth: The tiles have been tested in accordance with ASTM D6329 and is highly mold resistant.
• Organic Emissions: The tiles have been tested in accordance with ASTM D5116 and meets high quality air standards.
