What is the lead time?
We ship the panels nationwide the same or next business day.

Can I clean the panels?
Yes, the panels are made of PVC and moisture will have no effect on them. You can wipe them down with a wet soft rag.

Do I need a different tile for the border of the room and any cut tiles?
Ceilume's Westminster coffered ceiling tile has a strong 3-dimensional profile and can only be installed as a full 2'x2' tile - it can not be cut and placed in a grid as a partial tile. Since most ceilings are not perfectly sized to fit a layout of full sized tiles, there will most likely be partial grid squares along the border of the ceiling.

For these areas, you will need a border tile that can be cut to fit and installed as a partial tile. Border tiles have a low relief pattern (or a pattern that recesses upwards slightly) that allows them to be cut to fit the perimeter spaces and still sit flat in the grid. We recommend Ceilume Stratford ceiling tiles for the border of Westminster tiles.

Can I lay backer panels or insulation behind the tiles?
We don’t recommend this. The insulation or tiles behind can sit on our panel and crush them, which can cause them to sag. If you need to insulate behind the tiles, it should be placed up in the ceiling joists and not rest directly on the back of the tiles.

What is the safety and performance data associated with these tiles?

The Westminster ceiling tiles are only available in the 2'x2' size and cannot be cut.
